My friend Jennifer had a birthday this week {love ya, girly!} and I made her a cute necklace { see upper right -> } that reminded me of our friendship. My favorite book of all time is called The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it {grab the tissues}.. it is about a tree who is in a boys life for the long haul. Much like our friendship it has a lot of stages, lessons and love to give. Even though we don't always say it, the tree is loved always!

Did you notice? I changed the look of my blog! I guess really I shouldn't be asking, since it has been a year that I have posted anything *slaps forehead* - Now that hubby is home nights and the baby is less needy, I suppose there is no excuse not to keep my blog {at the very least} updated!

I know.. a little late, isn't it? I have been on hiatus for a couple of weeks being sick, updating my bedroom making room for baby Lane (due this Spring)and being busy with my regular "day job". Here I am though!

I have been getting so many unique personalizations this weekend. It is so fun to imagine how so many little "insiders" (for lack of better words) between two people can bring a smile to someone's face. I love it!

It reminds me of how my son (who is mildly autistic) can pick up a piece of string from the floor that means nothing to anyone else and it will be his prized possesion. It is so beautiful!

Yep, that is what I have been these days!!! Today I worked on 6 necklaces - wowsa! I was excited to create a new one (just for me) that says - Love to be a LANE - with a Starfish stamped in the middle. LANE is my last name and I love anything that has to do with the ocean. I can't wait to get a picture up here to show it off.. it is simply dazzling! I will sure be proud to wear it!

I wish that I would hurry up and pick a name for baby Lane. I have so many cute idea's for necklaces :) Hmmm... what should I name the little guy? Hubby is no help.. and the kids call him Scrappy! lol
